Editor's Review & How To Play
Combat system
Resident Evil VIII combat system is completely inherited from Resident Evil VII, basically no change. Still have blocking. Only this time, killing monsters is the loot, currency, herbs, treasures and other items may be obtained, compared to the previous, the chances of being able to obtain items is greatly improved.
Semi-open world map
Then it's worth mentioning the semi-open world map this time, in the middle of the game the Duke will give players a treasure map with various treasures on it, players can go looking for them themselves, most of the location of the treasure is independent of the main line outside the map. In general, there is no great significance, but only to give players more opportunities to explore as well as the opportunity to obtain more currency.
Puzzle
In terms of puzzle solving, this game still inherits the old Resident Evil way of solving puzzles, looking back and forth in a house to solve the key. The overall puzzle difficulty of the game is not high, but the difficulty of solving puzzles under Resident Evil II remake, definitely a little harder than seven. However, the design of this puzzle still has a lot of wonderful tips, careful players will be able to dig out, the design is very small and interesting. If you solve the puzzle card off, to give you a reminder, must pay more attention to observe, many rooms in the puzzle, the decryption area is definitely not in this room outside.
Mercenary Mode
The mercenary mode is not directly playable, but needs to be purchased in the reward content of the menu screen through real cp coins, which is the currency that players get by completing the challenges in the game. The cp coins are not the currency of the main game, they are completely different.
