The gameplay is basically tutorial, follow the plot in the early stages, get a new workout from each battle and learn from it, fight against other players to unlock special equipment and improve your ranking. Remember to upgrade your gear often, upgrading each item to a maximum of 16 levels. When upgrading items, bonus stats are unlocked every four stages of upgrade. It is recommended to keep grinding and you will see some really great items drop. If you don't want to upgrade your equipment up front, the upgrade process will become more and more of a hassle as your own adventure progresses, even wasting valuable resources as a result, so this is important.
